2025-05-11 - Missing The Witness - John #18

In John 5:30-47, Jesus confronts the religious leaders with the idea that they are missing the point. They know the Old Testament really well, but they are rejecting its witness of Him. The Old Testament points to Jesus. Specifically, the writings of Moses (the Torah) should be seen as pointing to Him, but the religious leaders reject this witness and reject Jesus.
