Fernview Group Campground, situated overlooking South Santiam River, is located within Willamette National Forest in Oregon and is accessed by driving over a Bridge. It is a very interesting design - it was originally a classic Developed Campground with 11 Individual Campsites, but was converted into a Group Campground - thus it has the benefits of a classic Developed Campground design and the privacy of 11 Individual Campsites! Often if a Campground is designed to be a Group Campground at the onset, it has more of a base camp cluster design rather than having Individual Campsites carved out. This makes Fernview Group Campground a very special Group Campground indeed!
