Doug Talks About: Can Mold Cause Cancer?

The headline reads, “A college student thought she had a sinus infection. She was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive cancer.” While attending Texas A&M University and apparently living in a sorority dormitory, a 22-year-old student was diagnosed with a form of leukemia. But given college dormitory’s history of indoor mold, could this student have been exposed to mold that might be mimicking or even possibly have caused her “cancer?” Says another on-line article, “Texas A&M housing director Dan Mizer told the station that there’s been an increase in mold cases at colleges in recent years and that dorms are particularly susceptible because of old and complicated air conditioning systems and because students often don’t notice infestations until the mold has spread.” As I have reported for decades, mold can mimic cancer…yes, even leukemia. But beyond mimicking cancer, can mold cause cancer?
Join me Monday, May 12th from 2-3PM Central Time as we explore the link between mold and cancer. I promise you this will be an “eye-opener” 60-minutes for many of you! Please tell loved ones to join us also as questions are always appreciated! - Doug
