Tigres salvaged a draw in compensation against Necaxa and is a semifinalist

In a dramatic finale, complete with refereeing controversy, Tigres salvaged a 2-2 draw in stoppage time against Necaxa and secured their place in the Liga MX Clausura 2025 Semifinals.

It wasn't until the 51st minute, on a Diego Lainez run from the right flank, that Juan Bruneta appeared to hit the ball with a cross and, after a Necaxa player deflected it, it went into the back of the net to make it 1-0 in favor of Tigres.
