Walter Isaacson: Elon Musk is crazy enough to think he can change the world.
“Both [Elon Musk and Steve Jobs] have a deeply innovative sense that comes from, as Steve Jobs would say, being able to think different. They're willing to be disruptors.
You know Jobs' famous ad in which he says, ‘here's to the misfits, the rebels, the round pegs in the square holes’, and ends by saying, ‘and the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do’.
Well, Elon Musk is crazy half the time. He thinks he can change the world. I think they each deserve to be celebrated for what they did.”
