It’s not your body that you’re killing. It’s the body of your child

"And I was feeling liberated by all that "my body, my choice" talk. And I don’t think we really understand what that’s connected to.

But to start with, the first revelation God gave me was that it wasn’t my body, because I’ve given birth to five children, and none of us have the same body.

My mother, who has passed away, and I, who am still alive, don’t have the same body. Because if it were my body, I would be the one dying during the abortion process.

So it’s not my body, because my mother and I don’t share the same body. It’s not your body that you’re hurting or killing. It’s your child’s body.

Because there are women who’ve said “my body, my choice” ten times—and they’re still alive."
