U.S. AND CHINA AGREE TO ROLL BACK TARIFFS FOR 90 DAYS
USA WILL CUT TARIFFS ON CHINESE GOODS FROM 145% ΤΟ 30%
CHINA WILL LOWER TARIFFS ON U.S. GOODS FROM 125% TO 10%
Washington and Beijing just agreed to a 90-day truce that slashes their record-high tariffs and resets the tone of the trade war.

Starting May 14, U.S. duties drop to 30% from 145%, while China's fall to 10% from 125%, giving boardrooms-and stock screens-a welcome breather.

The deal emerged from marathon Geneva talks led by Treasury chief Scott Bessent, USTR Jamieson Greer and Vice-Premier He Lifeng, who also set up a standing channel for broader market-access discussions.
