Hospitality workers get some relief

Food boxes were distributed to hospitality workers affected by the ice storm. The event was made possible by the Michigan Hospitality Foundation, Sysco of Michigan, and Buckhead Meats. 150 boxes were handed out at Treetops Resort in Gaylord. It’s part of the ongoing efforts by the Michigan Hospitality Industry Employee Relief Fund. The ice storm left more than 90,000 homes and businesses without power across 10 counties.
