Reviewing "The foundation of Augustinian-Calvinism" by Ken Wilson - Part One

This book was written to record the evidence that Augustinianism and ultimately Calvinism were derived from gnosticism. The ideas of TULIP etc were rejected by the early church.

In this video, we read and critique the beginning of the book including the introduction and Chapter One. The first chapter deals with the teachings of the stoics, neoplatonists and gnostics (including manichaens). The similarity to Calvinism is striking. These were all influences on Augustine and he even claims that it was neoplatonism that converted him to Christianity!
