Israel Steps Up: Defending Syria's Druze As The World Looks Away

The Druze are a religion indigenous to the Middle East, spread across the region, which in recent days have faced an onslaught of violence in Syria at the hands of the Syrian regime and its allies.

Despite Western powers claiming to defend the interests of minorities, it is Israel which has come to the Druze’s defence, striking Syrian sites and ensuring the safety of this embattled minority that the world has evidently forgotten.
