Jermall Charlo: Caleb Plant Owe Me A Fade for Slapping Me

In a recent interview, Jermall Charlo confessed he was wrong for disrespecting Caleb Plant. That disrespect led to Caleb slapping the taste out of his mouth on that faithful day, July 27th, at Spence vs Crawford weigh-ins.

After 2 years, Bib Charlo finally says he wants his lick back. Charlo says he's still in his prime, and he is back. He's healthy and ready to go. Jermall says he took 3 years off, and he misses boxing.

Charlo says he can beat Cork Flake Lamana with one hand. "I want to show the world that I'm back." End Quote. According to Jermall Charlo, he and Caleb Plant spoke about fighting each other after their scheduled fights.

Charlo said, and I quote, "We're going to get this money; we're going to make it happen. I need my fade for him slapping me. Caleb knows what I mean. I would have done what he did, too.

But at the end of the day, you can't run from this. We're going to fight, and all respect is due." End Quote. This fight is past due. The fight would have been bigger if Plant and Charlo had fought each other when the anonymity was at its height.

We'll see how this plays out.

In other news, Manny Pacquiao has come out of retirement to fight Mario Barrios. You can't make this sh*t up. To add insult to injury, Manny is ranked #5 with the WBC.

Manny has been retired for almost four years. He did an exhibition not too long ago, and he looked terrible. Somebody at the PBC loves Mario Barrios. Instead of Mauricio Sulaiman mandating Barrios fight a top fighter, he's allowing Barrios to fight 75-year-old Manny Pacquiao.

Manny must be broke. This is the only reason he's come out of retirement. Al Haymon must owe Manny another fight under his PBC deal. When Manny left Top Rank, he signed an agreement with Al Haymon's PBC.

As I said, anybody can be added to a sanctioning body's rankings. The ranking system is a scam, and boxing fans know it. I predict Manny will get his old a** stopped.

Mario Barrios and the PBC are playing keep away with the WBC strap. Boots will have difficulty becoming undisputed in the welterweight division.

In other news, day 2 of Diddy's trial has started, and Cassie has taken the stand. Diddy's attorneys are trying to prove that he's not an X-trafficking drug dealer who ran a criminal enterprise.

In my opinion, Diddy a** is cooked! If he did any of the things Diddy's accused of, he belongs under the jail—Cassie's testimony. Diddy can look forward to being a cellmate with R. Kelly.

I've told people on this platform that if Boots decided to move to 154. he would still have problems finding a willing opponent to fight him. Why? Because the fighters he needs to fight are with different promoters.

Some Philly fans were optimistic that Boots would find bigger and better fights at 154. I begged to differ. And now boxing fans are starting to see what I'm talking about.

Fighters who don't make a lot of money want career high paydays to fight Boots... because he's high risk. Mario Barrios, Eimantis Stanionis, Brian Norman Jr and now Charles Conwell have all rejected Eddie Hearn offers.

Sighting the offers were too low. In order for Boots to get the type of fights he needs on his lack luster resume. Eddie Hearn is gonna have to overpay these fighters.

If not, then Boots will have no choice but to defend his title against Karen Chuka-Chuka at 147. Or, fight Madrimov at 154. This fight makes sense because Madrimov is a Matchroom fighter.

Boots can fight Conner Benn. Maybe even reach out to Dela Hoya for Vergil Ortiz. 4 fighters are all saying the same thing about Eddie Hearn sending lowball offers.

Boots is either being ducked. Or Eddie Hearn is doing bad business. Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia said the same thing about Bob Arum when he made $3 and 4 million dollar offers for the Crawford fight. Both men turned it down sighting Bob was being cheap.
