What it’s Like to Live in Iowa (Part 1)

You know what no one has ever asked me?

“What is it like to live in Iowa?”

You know what I get asked non-stop?

“You live in Iowa? Why?”

Eh, this is where I met my wife.

Sure, we’re surrounded by ignorance, but like any state, there are pockets of sanity.

But I comment on that tomorrow.

Today, it’s mostly the fact that when you meet people here, you tend to be a little more open, and trusting, rather than suspicious, and cautious.

Is it in the air, or the water?

Who knows?

Well, I mean, Kevin Costner did.

Hell, he thought this midwestern state was heaven.
