Laith meets Mariam Mohammad, representative of the Arab Network for Food Sovereignty on the The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) at the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The two have coffee at Nostalgia Cafe near a block completely destroyed by Zionist bombardment on Beirut. Mariam speaks about her upbringing in south Lebanon, her work on food sovereignty in the region and at the UN, her move to Brazil and beginning to work with community and indigenous food groups, and much more.
