Denver Zoo Animals Devour FarmBox Fodder

The Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance introduced barley fodder grown in a Hydroponic Fodder Farm into the diets of some of its animals. The zoo has been picking up a load of fodder from FarmBox Foods, which designs and builds container farms, almost every week for the past year. As you can see, the response has been a positive one!

The Hydroponic Fodder Farm is a water-efficient, seed-to-harvest farm housed in an upcycled shipping container. It yields the equivalent of about 30 acres of grazing land each year.
