From Spark to A Blaze - Run To The Place of Praise
Run To The Place of Praise Not Panic – It Starts With A Spark
Friends, today I want to talk to you about something deeply stirring in my spirit—a message that’s vital for us in these challenging times. It’s about learning to run to the place of praise, not panic, especially when the world around us seems to be spinning out of control. The journey begins with a spark—an ignition in your heart that can grow into a blazing fire of faith and prayer that changes nations.
Calling Forth God's Presence
Have you ever hungered for God's presence but hesitated to call it forth? Scripture tells us repeatedly to “call forth that which is not as though it were.” This is an invitation to decree and declare God's presence and promises even before we see them fully realized. It’s not a passive waiting game; it’s an active engagement where we press in, sit until His presence comes, and refuse to leave until we experience it.
Our God is a God who establishes what we decree. When you say, “I hunger for Your presence, Lord, and I call it forth,” you are partnering with Heaven’s authority. This is the first step in the strategy God has given us—building altars of prayer and faith in our lives and communities.
Standing Firm Amidst Darkness and Chaos
We live in a time where darkness seems to be rising rapidly. From political agendas to societal unrest, from legislation threatening our freedoms to criminal syndicates flourishing, the world around us is fraught with challenges. But let me tell you this: we are not of this world, and we will not compromise with its ways.
The struggles in places like British Columbia, the passage of oppressive laws like Bill C-7, and the rise of global powers seeking control can feel overwhelming. Yet, God reminds us not to be pulled in different directions or to worry about these things. Instead, He calls us to pray about everything, with faith-filled requests, and to trust Him fully.
Worry is not our portion. Anxiety does not belong to those who walk with God. When the enemy tries to distract or overwhelm us, our response must be to fix our thoughts on what is true, honorable, pure, lovely, and admirable.
The Power of Faith-Filled Prayer
Prayer is not simply a ritual or a passive activity. It is a powerful weapon and a strategic tool in God's hands. I’ve been hearing from many who feel overwhelmed by the scale of prayer requests and the darkness they see. But I want to tell you, you have the power inside of you to make a difference.
Don’t come to God with “bic lighter prayers”—prayers that flicker and die out. Come with faith-filled prayers that expect God to move. Faith believes before it sees, and it holds on to God’s promises no matter what the circumstances look like.
When you pray, do it boldly, courageously, and expectantly. Lay your requests at God’s throne and thank Him for what He has done—even before you see the answer. This kind of prayer unlocks the peace of God that transcends all understanding and guards our hearts and minds.
Building a Network of Prayer Altars
One of the most profound strategies God has revealed to me—and one that is changing nations—is the establishment of prayer altars. This isn’t just about individual prayer; it’s about creating a spiritual network that connects families, churches, cities, and nations in unified, deep, and powerful prayer.
It starts with taking prayer deep into your own heart. Ignite that spark of faith within yourself. Like learning to start a fire in the wilderness, it begins small—a spark, a little smoke, a flame—and then it grows. When each individual’s fire burns brightly, it ignites the fire in families, churches, and communities. Together, these altars form a blazing bonfire that pushes back darkness.
This strategy isn’t theoretical. It’s birthed out of real experiences. For example, I’ve seen remarkable transformations in people like Judith, whose faith rose through persistent prayer, resulting in the return of her prodigal sons and a renewed strength in her life.
Trusting God’s Sovereignty in the Midst of Political and Social Turmoil
There is much happening politically—trade deals that seem impossible, shifts in power, and struggles between nations. But God is sovereign over it all. He is actively dismantling the Babylonian systems of this world, including the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, and other global powers.
We may see legislation like Bill C-7 or agreements that look threatening. Yet, God assures us that He will distinguish the righteous from the wicked. Just as He swallowed the earth in the days of Korah and saved the righteous, He will do so again. We are called to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and His promises, not on the chaos around us.
It’s vital that we don’t get caught up in fear or distraction. Instead, we must be saturated in prayer throughout the day, offering faith-filled requests with overflowing gratitude. This is our assignment now—to build altars, call down God’s glory, and expect His light to shine in the darkness.
Living in Joy and Peace Amid Trials
Even when facing personal trials—like the illness of a loved one or overwhelming prayer requests—God’s word is clear: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.”
Joy and peace are not just emotions; they are spiritual weapons. The apostle Paul urges us to rejoice always and be gentle in every relationship because the Lord is near. This joy is not dependent on circumstances but on the presence of God within us.
I want you to experience this joy deep in your soul. When you face the storms of life, remember the operative word is “through.” You are going through it, not staying there. Keep your mind fixed on what is true, honorable, and praiseworthy. This will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
Who You Are in God’s Eyes
Many of us struggle with feelings of inadequacy or wondering if we’ve accomplished enough. But God sees beyond our outward appearance and feelings. He says, “I knew you before I formed you. I carried you even before you were born.” You are fearfully and wonderfully made, created for such a time as this.
Your identity is not defined by age, appearance, or past failures. You are a spirit being, empowered by the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. The power inside you is greater than any darkness you face.
When you say “yes” to God, surrendering fully to His will, you will begin to see that power manifest in your life. God has great and glorious plans for you, and He has prepared you for your assignment long before you arrived on this earth.
God’s Promises of Restoration and Supernatural Favor
The Bible speaks of restoration and sudden favor. In Amos 9, God promises to restore the fallen house, repair damaged walls, and bring back His people from exile. We are entering a season of “suddenly”—a time when blessings and breakthroughs will come unexpectedly and powerfully.
Despite what the world’s headlines say—about inflation, shortages, and conflict—God is orchestrating a divine plan. Trade deals are shifting, wars are being averted, and supply chains are being restored. This is the work of God’s hand through His chosen leaders and His faithful people.
As believers, we are not to be discouraged but to stand firm, pray fervently, and keep our eyes fixed on the promises of God. The plowman is about to overtake the sower, and we will reap a harvest of blessings.
Conclusion: Go To The Place of Praise, Not Panic
As we navigate these turbulent times, remember the powerful truth: go to the place of praise, not panic. Worship and praise are not just expressions of joy—they are strategic acts of faith that usher in God’s presence and power.
Build your altar of prayer. Ignite the spark in your heart. Pray boldly and expectantly. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable. Let your joy overflow, and let God’s peace guard your heart and mind.
The darkness may be rising, but the light of God is shining brighter. The enemy’s plans are crumbling before our very eyes. We are the body of Christ, called to stand firm, to pray, and to declare victory.
Remember, the power that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside you. You are not alone. God has equipped you and prepared you for such a time as this. So arise in the fullness of your union with the Lord. Be saturated in prayer. Be filled with joy. And go forward with confidence—because the battle is already won.
Keep the faith. Keep praying. Keep praising. The best is yet to come.
