StepChain Scam Exposed: Rory Conacher’s Fitness App Is Just MLM With a Crypto Twist

In this video, The Crypto Ponzi Scheme Avenger (aka Danny de Hek) lifts the curtain on StepChain, the latest “Move-to-Earn” scam wrapped in fitness jargon and crypto glitter—brought to you by none other than serial scammer Rory Conacher.

After years of promoting Ponzi schemes like HyperVerse, We Are All Satoshi, StableDAO, and VidiLOOK, Rory has now rebranded himself as a “wellness leader.” But make no mistake: StepChain is not a health app—it’s a highly polished multilevel marketing scheme cleverly disguised as a fitness revolution.

💣 *STEPCHAIN’S FALSE PROMISES*

They claim you can “get paid to move” by earning points for walking, brain games, and daily activities. These Step Points are supposedly redeemable for Teslas, gift cards, supplements, and even cryptocurrency. But scratch the surface and you’ll find shady upsells, fake scarcity, and monthly subscription traps starting at $29.95—with a 3-tier commission structure designed to rope you into recruiting others.

💣 *THE APP STORE DECEPTION*

StepChain is listed under Absolutely Digital—not StepChain—in both the Apple and Google app stores. Their privacy policy links to stepchain.net/legal, yet the root domain (stepchain.net) returns a 404 error. Their legal documents are dated 2019, referencing obsolete tracking systems and offer walls—a notorious feature of data-harvesting apps.

And here's the kicker: their App Store privacy policy uses a free Gmail address ([email protected]), while the same policy on their website removes the contact email altogether. That’s not a professional company. That’s intentional obfuscation.
