After stopping the caretaker from potentially getting blown up, I began filming. Out in a remote corner of California near Nevada is a miniature superadobe community tucked away in the Mojave desert. Superadobe homes are an alternative and more environmentally form of home building. And these are likely the most creative and imaginative superadobe homes you'll ever see. It's an off-grid enclave where people live an almost old-fashioned homestead life, washing clothes by hand, for instance. All around the property there are also funky creations and sculptures made from discarded materials that have been repurposed to become art.
