ltra Street Fighter IV is a 2.5D fighting game and an update of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, marking the fourth update to the Street Fighter IV series overall. It features five additional characters, six new stages, and character tweaks based on community feedback. The game was first released to Japanese arcades via the NESICA system on April 17, 2014, and later released as a standalone game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and PlayStation 4. New characters in Ultra Street Fighter IV include Rolento, Elena, Hugo, Poison, and Decapre. The game also introduces new features such as the "Edition Select" option, which allows players to choose different versions of characters based on their properties in past Street Fighter IV iterations, and a "Double Ultra" option that makes both of a character's Ultra Combos available simultaneously at the cost of reduced damage. Additionally, Ultra Street Fighter IV includes a new move called Red Focus, which has more invincibility hits compared to the regular Focus move, and a "delayed wakeup" technique that allows a knocked-down player to lengthen the time before the character gets back up.
