Well… KoJak has been pretty indifferent to cats in the past year I’ve had him, which saddens me, because I’m a cat lady. He has zero aggression toward them, and doesn’t know what to do whet they show interest in him.

Until now.

We’re petsitting a cat named Zora that is not phased by him in the slightest. She wants to be on my chest and nothing will stop her. KoJak, at first, was whining as if he was jealous. I’d pet him and her at the same time, showing him there’s nothing to worry about. Zora would try to suss out KoJak, and he just seemed confounded by it. Then he started licking her hind quarters. I wondered if he was gaining info or trying to get her to move— she didn’t seemed bothered by it, would actually start purring and then lick MY face (which felt… wrong). But tonight, he really started going to town on her backside AND butthole, obsessed. The cat went from, “this is fine” to “too much, man!”, but still wants cuddles, trying to dodge KoJak’s advances.

Have any of you EVER seen this behavior before? It is wild.
