Chex Mix - Easy Chex Mix Recipe - Southern Appetizer Recipes
Chex Mix, Vol. 4 Cookbook Recipe
3 CUPS CORN CHEX™ CEREAL
3 CUPS RICE CHEX™ CEREAL
3 CUPS WHEAT CHEX™ CEREAL
1 CUP MIXED NUTS
1 CUP BITE-SIZE PRETZELS
1 CUP GARLIC-FLAVOR BITE-SIZE BAGEL CHIPS
1/2 CUP SALTED BUTTER
2 TBSP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1 1/2 TSP. SEASONED SALT
3/4 TSP. GARLIC POWDER
1/2 TSP. ONION POWDER
In large bowl, mix cereals, nuts, pretzels, and bagel chips; set aside.
In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on high about 40 seconds or until melted. Add Worcestershire, salt, garlic powder and onion powder and mix well. Pour over cereal mixture; stir and toss until evenly coated.
Spread snack mix out on two large sheet pans. Place both pans in oven on separate racks and bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour.
IMPORTANT: Stir mix every 15 minutes while baking.
Remove from oven, cool to room temperature, and store in airtight container.
Shelf life: 1 week maximum
