Pro Late Models at Straight River

The National career race at Straight River Speedway on Expert difficulty. Early in the night there is plenty of traction. Traction does drop a little after Qualifying, but not much. After qualifying the traction does reduce a fair amount, requiring a fair amount of throttle control. I find the bottom here to be fastest, but when side by side, the top is competitive. The track surface is a bit on the rough side, but at least nothing car throwing.

This was by far the most competitive race I have had yet. 2 cautions slowed the pace. The first came as Justin Smith spun out in front of the pack after contract with Brian Carter, and I needed to take drastic action to avoid blasting Smith. The 2nd was for Joe Lusk, after he dove low into Travis Sollenberger and spun out. Once again I had to take drastic action to avoid heavy contact. I did get into the wall, as I glanced off Lusk. I did bump into a couple cars in this race, but nothing substantial. Traffic navigation was good, granted towards the end I just couldn't get passed Mike Norris.
