I care the MOST until I don’t. It’s a dangerous place to find yourself. No spite. No bitterness. No grudges. Just impenetrable boundaries. And sometimes the wound was caused by another but that boundary remains. Example: I was SO hurt by a company I previously worked with that when anything arises with my current company, that would typically rile up others, I DO NOT CARE. But that boundary has nothing to do with how I’m treated here and everything to do with not allowing a job to dictate my worth ever again. Maybe I should name these chats #makeupandmoodswings LOL!
