🔹 At the Scene — Nederland Police observe signs of intoxication, including slurred speech and unsteady balance. The driver denies drinking or drug use, but bystanders report extreme erratic behavior.
🔹 Jan. 24, 2024 — Indicted for Driving While Intoxicated – 3rd or More, marking her 10th DWI-related offense in Jefferson County.
🔹 Guilty Plea — She later pleads guilty. Due to prior felony DWI convictions, the charge is enhanced to a 2nd-degree felony.
🔹 April 15, 2025 — Sentencing date. Judge Raquel West hands down an 18-year sentence for the 2nd-degree felony conviction due to prior DWI offenses.
