AR-0155: Before his resurgence as an action star in the mid-to-late 1970s with the success of "Death Wish", everybody's favourite "hand grenade with the pin pulled" Charles Bronson was having modest success in Europe with a string of well-circulated thrillers that nowadays can be found in the public domain...

...such as this particular example, which is essentially a three-man-show between Bronson, playing an amnesiac stranger with possible murderous nature, Anthony Perkins, playing the smarty pants shrink trying to program him to murder his cheating wifey's lover and Jill Ireland, who plays the wifey.

The three main leads do an excellent job in their performances, in particular Bronson, who uses this particular job to demonstrate once and for all that he actually can ACT worth a damn, but the script is a pile of bullhitsa. That being said, nice to see these three in action in what is essentially a rather forgettable psychological thriller.

My Grade: C [Average]
