Street Fighter X Tekken is a crossover fighting video game published by Capcom and developed with Dimps and QLOC for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, PlayStation Vita, and iOS. The game features characters from both the Street Fighter and Tekken franchises, allowing players to select two characters to fight as a duo in tag team battles. Each player's objective is to knock out one of the members from the opposing team by depleting their health. The game includes a single-player Story mode that revolves around a mysterious object called "Pandora," which releases a powerful energy when beings come into conflict around it. The game's core gameplay is based on the 2D gameplay of Street Fighter, incorporating elements such as Super Combos and EX Attacks, while Tekken characters can perform Tekken-style combos using the primary four buttons. Unique features in the game include the Gem System, which allows players to equip special gems to power-up various character attributes, and Pandora Mode, where a character's strength and abilities are temporarily augmented. Street Fighter X Tekken was well received by critics, who praised the roster and deep game mechanics, although it did not meet Capcom's sales expectations.
