Or at least most Americans are thoughtless consumerists. We are a short-term memory nation, obsessed with relaxation and comfort rather than being vigilant of human degradation and slavery propping up "cheap" Chinese prices. History is repeating. In the 1930's America turned a blind eye to Nazi murders of Jews. And it hasn't learned a thing, despite the Holocaust Memorial on the DC Mall. The ChiComs are wiping out dissenters, Falun Gong, Christians, and Uyghurs. China is organ harvesting, proliferating missile tech to putative Nuclear wannabe rogues, making military islands in the Pacific, stealing IP, hiding Covid data, insinuating its spies onto US campuses and defense infrastructure. And all Americans could do for the last 30 days of tariff negotiations was to whine and worry about the availability of Chinese-made Christmas toys 6 months from now. What a bunch of pussies. We could never fight a WWII again with sacrifice and rationing. And because they aren't Europeans, clearly Western consumers could care less about Chinese genocide and religious persecution. We're weak, stupid, and cowardly. Except for a few of us.
