In this gameplay video, I dive into DOOM: The Dark Ages, the latest installment in id Software's iconic shooter series. Set as a prequel to DOOM (2016), this game transports us to a dark, medieval-inspired world where the Doom Slayer battles the forces of Hell with brutal new weapons like the Shield Saw and Skull Crusher. The combat feels heavier and more grounded, offering a fresh take on the franchise's signature intensity.

DOOM: The Dark Ages officially releases on May 15, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. However, players who purchased the Premium Edition or upgraded through Game Pass can start playing early on May 13. As an Xbox first-party title, it's also available day one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
