Measuring HbA1c for diabetes

Checking for diabetes includes a test called HbA1c. It measures the amount of glycation of glucose over a 3 month period of time.

It does not measure glycated fructose.

A HbA1c can be falsely low or falsely elevated in certain scenarios. Listen in for more information.
