Cupchairs caught up with Slowly Slowly singer Ben Stewart on the heels of the band's 2025 UK/EU headlining tour that took them from Ireland through England and onto Belgium, France, and Germany. Stewart sheds light on his transition from drummer to singer/songwriter, working with producer/mixer Jonathan Gilmore (The 1975, Beabadoobee), and drops some choice phrases including a particular compliment in Australia that doesn't land as well when paid to someone in the UK.
