1. Guilt Offering for Personal Sin (vv. 1–7):

Sins addressed include:

Deception in financial matters (e.g., lost property, false promises)

Stealing or extortion

The sinner must:

Confess the wrongdoing

Make restitution plus 20% extra

Offer a ram without defect as a Guilt Offering
➡️ This shows God requires both justice and mercy.

2. Priest’s Duties for Burnt Offering (vv. 8–13):

The burnt offering must stay burning on the altar continually.

Ashes are to be removed daily and placed outside the camp.

The fire on the altar must never go out—symbolizing constant devotion and worship.

3. Rules for Grain Offering (vv. 14–23):

Only male priests may eat the grain offering in a holy place.

Aaron and his sons had a special daily grain offering—half in the morning and half at night, fully burned to God.

No portion of it was eaten—symbolizing complete dedication.

4. Sin Offering Procedures (vv. 24–30):

Most holy—must be slaughtered in a holy place.

The priest who offers it eats it in a holy area, unless it is for the entire community.

Anything that touches the offering becomes holy—showing God’s holiness is contagious but must be handled with care.

Spiritual Lessons
Sin against others is also sin against God—both must be made right.

True repentance includes restitution.

Worship should be continual—symbolized by the ever-burning altar fire.

God expects reverence in handling sacred things.

Christ Connection
Jesus fulfilled the Guilt Offering through His perfect sacrifice and paid the debt we could not (Hebrews 10:12). His righteousness makes us clean and holy before God.
