1. First Priestly Offerings (vv. 1–6):

On the eighth day, Moses instructs Aaron to offer:

A sin offering and burnt offering for himself (vv. 2)

Offerings for the people: a sin offering, burnt offering, grain offering, and peace offering (vv. 3–4)

Purpose: To atone and that the glory of the Lord may appear (v. 6)

2. Aaron’s Obedience and Sacrifices (vv. 7–21):

Aaron obeys fully:

First offers a sin offering for himself (vv. 8–11)

Then offers sacrifices for the people, just as commanded

Emphasizes obedience, atonement, and worship in proper order

3. God’s Glory Appears (vv. 22–24):

Aaron blesses the people.

Moses and Aaron enter the Tent of Meeting, then come out and bless the people again.

God’s glory appears to all, and fire comes from the Lord to consume the offering on the altar.
➡️ The people shout and fall facedown in awe and worship.

Spiritual Lessons
Worship requires obedience—Aaron followed God’s instructions exactly.

God’s presence follows faithful service—obedience brings glory.

God accepts the sacrifice when done His way—not ours.

True worship leads to reverence and awe before God.

Christ Connection
Just as Aaron offered sacrifices and blessed the people, Jesus is our High Priest who offered Himself once and for all (Hebrews 10:12) and blesses us with access to God’s presence (Hebrews 4:14–16).
