Gender Madness Highlighted in Springfield

State Rep. Travis Weaver (R-Pekin) took to the House Floor to speak up for women athletes and referenced a recent high school track meet in Illinois. He spoke about this unfair situation in a kind way. A biological boy dominated the girls' 100m, 200m and 400m races at the Naper Prairie Conference track meet this week in Naperville.

In response, State Rep. Kelly Cassidy (D-Chicago) took a moment of personal privilege to attack conservatives as being "obsessed with children's genitals."

Maybe someone should have warned Rep. Cassidy that she and her Progressive Caucus affirm hormone blockers, genital amputation and gender reassignment surgeries.

Thankfully, State Rep. Bill Hauter (R-Morton) rose to object to Cassidy's unwarranted personal attack, asking that she take down her words.
