This generation shall not pass away, until all these things be fulfilled.

Matthew 24 explained in the proper context. The judgement that came upon Jerusalem in 70 AD is not the same thing as the Second Coming. All of those things Jesus said would happen in that generation, did happen. But we still await His Second Coming.
