Eliel faced death threats, bombing and oppression when he lived in Brazil for his principled beliefs. He escaped to America and he and his family started the process of becoming citizens of these United States and dedicated his life to exposing communism and promoting Christian conservative values. He founded The Nehemiah School of Government to educate people on our Constitution and limited government in Midland, Texas.

On January 6, 2021, he was in Washington to hear President Trump speak and prayed for him and America. Upon returning home to Midland , he was charged with insurrection and destroying government property. He will explain this event, the time he was held and the effect it had on his family, his life and the effect it had on his family and the possibility of becoming an American citizen. He will also explain the "Deal" the government wanted him to agree to secure lesser charges. Currently he is fighting to become a citizen, and since his probation, he is starting the immigration process over again with the possibility of deportation. He recently went to Washington to secure help-, and he is concerned that the immigration process will hurt and separate his family.
