Results from Stand A after 1 Treatment

Here is a short walkthrough of a portion of stand A. This is after one of 3 treatments for bush-honeysuckle removal, but by doing it using the method and tools that I use I have such amazing results that I want to have the university‘a local invasive species researcher visit the property to determine if its worth having a legitimate study to compare the two in species diversity and cost/reward for the time spent doing the removal my way verses the cut/spray method. The purplish flowers covering the forest are called “Miami mist” (Phacelia purshii). With these results I feel it is a great step towards fighting back this invasive where the benefits would be enjoyed by property owners who just want a healthy ecosystem, or hunters looking to improve the breeding success of turkey or deer. This is also great for bee enthusiasts because without having the treatment using a foliar spray it protects pollinators from incidental exposure of the leaves/flowers of anything treated using the traditional method.

Going through with this mention having a regenerative mindset and considering overall ecosystem health I believe this has the best cost/benefit outcome and I hope to have a research study to back my initial anecdotal observations.
