Exploring Battleship Cove Part II: USS Lionfish Is TIGHT! Literally! (WWII Navy Ships Tour)

If you're a history buff or looking for an educational trip with the family, Battleship Cove in Fall River, MA is definitely worth a visit. There's so much to see—from the massive USS Massachusetts, which is the centerpiece and truly awe-inspiring in person, to the dozens of huge guns that leave a strong impression. The exhibits are packed with information, making it a great stop for school-age kids learning about WWII. The USS Lionfish submarine was a tight squeeze—larger visitors might have trouble fitting through the narrow corridors—but still fascinating. It was a bit disappointing that you can't access the top of the battleship, which is what most visitors are excited for, but it’s clear that a lot of work and construction is going into restoring these historic ships for the future.
