City of Heroes/Villains Shutdown Vigil from 2017

On November 30, 2012, the Superhero MMO City of Heroes and it's counterpart, City of Villains, was shut down. The community rallied around to try and get that decision reversed. A few smart people were able to get the game client to work with an open source chat server and thus Paragon Chat was born where fans of the game could gather and chat and come together as a community. And every year, they would hold a vigil for their game.

It has since been brought back by an unknown person who leaked the source code of the server and the client. We are now able to play the game on private servers.
