Rubio Already Knows Nothing Will Happen at the Turkey Talks. Says It’s Up to Trump and Putin

Rubio already knows that nothing will come out of the talks in Turkey. He’s already said he won’t go there. In his view, a breakthrough is only possible after a meeting between Trump and Putin.

Honestly, I don’t quite get what kind of breakthrough they’re talking about. There is not a single point of contact between Russia and Ukraine on any issue. What can a personal meeting really solve? Negotiations are great, but, as I’ve said many times before — the front line decides everything.
