The vessel’s 150-foot masts were seen striking the iconic structure, sending debris into the water below. The ship, identified as the Cuauhtémoc, was built in Spain in 1982 and is used as a training vessel. Emergency crews are transporting victims to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, while those critically injured are being rushed to local hospitals.
