As we are studying the Book of Beginnings, Genesis, we must view it through the lens of the prophetic word of God, from where we are today. His Word is true yesterday, the same as it is today. We are in the end time of the Church Age, a waiting the Rapture. The rapture will precipitate a big change in this world, Hebrews 1:10-12, is taken from Psalm 102:25-27, Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
