You’re Invited To An Open House at The Esoteric Academy!

If you have been curious about The Esoteric Academy, now is your chance to join us for a live class!

When & Where:
-This open house LIVE class is on Friday, May 23rd, 2025 at 5PM ET via zoom. Brice will be on the zoom around 4:30PM to answer any question about the academy before the start of the class.

What to Expect:
-During this class, we will be exploring the AXIS point of the body. During the first half of the class we will be workshopping alignment and the foundation of the body. The second half of the class will be a strength training workout to incorporate everything we previously reviewed. The close of this class will include a meditation with Paula.

The energetic axis of the body refers to the concept in various holistic and traditional medicine systems that the body has specific pathways or lines along which vital energy (such as chi, prana, or life force) flows. This axis is often considered the central route of energy circulation, connecting important energy centers or chakras and linking the head, torso, and lower body.

In practices like Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the energetic axis might be associated with the meridian pathways and the Du Mai (Governing Vessel) meridian, which runs along the midline of the body from the perineum to the top of the head. In Ayurveda, similar concepts are present with the sushumna nadi, running along the spinal cord, connecting the chakras.

Overall, the energetic axis is viewed as fundamental for the flow of energy, health, and balance within the body.

What Do You Need For the Class:
-This is an all levels class. We ask that you wear something that you can sweat in and allows you to freely move. You might want to have a sweat rag available, and if you’re working on hard floors, make sure to have a yoga mat or something to help you work on the floor.

-You will need a chair, sofa, low coffee table top, or anything that can support your weight and is chair level to sit on. Weights are also optional. If you decide to use weights, please have one heavy set and one light set. For reference, Brice will be using 5 pound weights and 2 pound weights. Men may go higher in weight. Please note that the weight options will be different for each person. YOU MAY ALSO DO THIS CLASS WITH NO WEIGHTS. If you’re new to exercise, are experiencing an injury, or don’t have foundational strength yet, please do not use any weight. You can strength training with your own body's resistance.

*Please note that all of our LIVE classes are filmed for our students in the academy to return to again on their own time, if they desire to do so. With that being said, YOU will NOT be filmed. Once the class starts, the zoom application will be set on our end to only film Brice. Regardless of how it appears to you, please be assured that you’re not being filmed. We want all of our students to feel comfortable when doing the work. If the idea of a workout on zoom, with other people, sill makes you uncomfortable, you are more than welcome to turn your camera off so no one can see you.
