Full Armor of God

It is War!

Most of us realize the spiritual battle going on behind the scenes on the Earth daily. You just need to turn on the news for two minutes to realize the mess we are in. In typical warfare, we all have an idea as to what it takes to defend yourself. But what about protection from spiritual warfare?
Ephesians 6 records the solution: The Belt of Truth; The Breastplate of Righteousness; The Shoes of Peace; The Shield of Faith; The Helmet of Salvation; and the Sword of the Spirit.

Well that is all well and good, but what exactly does this mean? What are these pieces of armor, and more importantly how do we utilize them?
Al takes a look at our enemy, and dives into each piece to help us understand not just what it means, but how to equip ourselves with each article of protection so we can be ready for the battle with the "Full Armor of God"

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
