The game features a general from the west called McGuinness who invades Japan with an army of bunny men led by warriors known as the Marvel 5. With the goal to "Westernize" all of Japan, no matter the cost, it is up to Goemon and the rest of his crew to stop that crazy General!

- This game marks the start of many tropes, the introduction of Impact, and many more things we will see in every Mystical Ninja game!
