The Bible has much to say about happiness, and the Scriptures promise joy and contentment to those who trust the LORD and obey His Word. This sermon examines the first Beatitude of the Bible, Psalm 1:1-3. The points are: 1) Where the "Blessed” does not seek happiness; 2) Where the "Blessed" find happiness and contentment; 3) The Portrait of the Blessed man: a well-watered tree.
