Pearson Testing Platform Hacked Due to Serving Their .git

I think many people in school have used Pearson for testing, but as it turns out, you can serve tests for cybersecurity certifications, but completely do away with cybersecurity. It really is a simple fix that was needed to prevent this, but somewhere along the way it was forgotten. They probably blocked the email from the handy bot that tells you this is exposed and thus never got a notification to fix it, hopefully. Otherwise they ignored the warning, which is worse.
