ICYMI: Alberta’s relationship with the United States is evolving, and we need bold action to keep pace. That’s why we’re launching the New North America Initiative and partnering with top researchers to better understand and respond to U.S. policy shifts that impact our province. This investment will ensure Alberta has the knowledge, talent, and influence to protect our interests and strengthen our role in North America.

☑️ Investing $6.5 million in the New North America Initiative to strengthen Canada-U.S. policy research.

☑️ Led by the University of Calgary, the initiative will expand research capacity and academic partnerships.

☑️ Program will help Alberta respond to U.S. policy shifts by connecting researchers, government, and industry.
