Filling borrow pits on the property

I needed to steal some dirt to fix trails. That left me with holes. Well, nothing gets wasted, so I used some low value poplar logs to chunk up and fill the holes. Years from now I can come back and dig out the composted wood and use it elsewhere and repeat.
