James Gunn’s SUPERMAN Projected to Have a HUGE Opening Weekend

James Gunn’s Superman movie has solid box office projections for its domestic opening weekend.

Right now, Superman is looking to bring in around $155-$175 million domestically during its opening weekend. This could put it past what Man of Steel made when adjusted for inflation. Also adjusted for inflation, Man of Steel made around $900 million globally when it came out in 2013. Given the reported budget for Superman (2025) it would need to surpass Man of Steel in order to be a success for the studio. If word of mouth turns out to be favorable for the movie it has a good enough start to hit that mark.
