SB46 Senator Fesi’s bill n Senator Hodges co-authored it on the senate floor

SB46 Prohibits any person from “intentionally inject[ing], release[ing], apply[ing], or dispers[ing] … a chemical, chemical compound, substance, or apparatus into the atmosphere … for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, weather, climate, or intensity of sunlight” within Louisiana

HB608 - State Rep Kim Coates & Senator Valarie Hodges original authors

Establishes a comprehensive regulatory scheme (R.S. 30:2591–2596) to prohibit all forms of weather modification, geoengineering, cloud-seeding, solar radiation modification, etc.,

Bans any person or entity from conducting weather-modifying activities via aircraft, balloons, space platforms, ground generators, or similar means.

Fesi’s bill has made it through the Senate. Kim’s bill will be heard Wednesday.
