Nicole Kidman had been a wild card when she first joined the Resistance. A world-famous actress turned XCOM operative? Many questioned her readiness. But the slums of Ghost Hill are where illusions end.

During Operation Brooding Heart, Nicole lived up to her call sign—Woolf—cold, sharp, and silent. She perched on a crumbling rooftop with a rusted sniper rifle, breathing steady beneath the acid rain as her team advanced on the Advent supply train.

When an Advent patrol nearly spotted Mel Gibson mid-flank, Nicole didn’t hesitate. “Target acquired,” she muttered, squeezing the trigger. The Advent Officer’s skull burst like a dropped light bulb. Seconds later, she put down another trooper trying to activate an alarm beacon. Her final shot of the mission dropped a charging Muton with one clean round to the neck.

Mel nodded afterward, “She saved my ass. That’s all I got to say about Woolf.”

Joe “Ghost” Jukic added, “Some people freeze up under fire. Not her. She’s got the timing of a stage veteran and the nerves of a sniper. Nicole’s the real deal.”

Nicole gave a faint smile. “Funny. Back in Hollywood, I used to fake gunshots. Now I just pray I don’t miss.”

“You didn’t miss today.”

She looked up. “That’s because people were counting on me.”

Bradford nodded. “Keep that mindset, Corporal. Earth needs more soldiers like you. Not more stars.”

She replied with a smirk: “Why not both?”
